Argon 18, an element and an idea

Argon is one of the group of noble (or rare) gases, accounting for approximately 1% of the earth’s atmosphere. Its presence entails no harmful consequences to the environment. Argon bears the atomic number 18 and is used as an inert gas shield in electric arc welding. An atom of Argon neither releases nor accepts any other electron, thus chemical binding is almost impossible.

You could say that Argon 18 bicycles exude the noble character of a thoroughbred because they exhibit certain rare qualities. They are chosen by very demanding riders. Argon 18 bikes transcend ephemeral trends and short-lived fashions; they are modern classics. They are what they are.
